McConnellsburg Spartans (McConnellsburg, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA), 5-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, McConnellsburg upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Southern Huntingdon County (Three Springs, PA) to battle the Rockets in a Inter-County - South test on Friday, April 28. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 3-10. Southern Huntingdon County lost 11-4 in their recent non-league test against Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA)

With the defeat, James Buchanan falls to 4-10 on the season. The Rockets travel to West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA) to battle the Mustangs in a Mid-Penn - Colonial test on Thursday, April 27. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 7-7. West Perry won 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Susquenita (Duncannon, PA)
