Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) and the visiting Portage Indians (Portage, IN), saw Valparaiso's baseball squad beat Portage by a margin of 9-3.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 28. Valparaiso will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 2-8 record after their 6-0 league loss to Glenn (Walkerton, IN).
