Illinois High School Volleyball - Maine East tips Wheeling
April 26, 2023: Park Ridge, IL 60068 Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Blue Demons clash with the Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL) in a match, on Monday, May 1. Maine East will attempt to advance on its 16-0 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Maine West (Des Plaines, IL).
With the loss, Wheeling drops to 1-2 on the campaign.
