New York High School Lacrosse - Gananda Central drops to Penn Yan Academy
April 26, 2023: Penn Yan, NY 14527 Penn Yan Academy Mustangs (Penn Yan, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Gananda Central Blue Panthers (Walworth, NY), 19-1 in a league battle.
The Mustangs now have a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palmyra-Macedon for a Section 5 Finger Lakes II battle on Friday, April 28. Penn Yan Academy will clash with a Red Raiders squad coming off a 15-5 league win over Geneva (Geneva, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 7-0.
In their next game, the Blue Panthers clash with the Eastridge Lancers (Rochester, NY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 27. Gananda Central will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Lancers come into the battle with a 1-6 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Gates Chili (Rochester, NY).
