Virginia High School Lacrosse - Meridian drops to Briar Woods
April 26, 2023: Falls Church, VA 22043 In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting Briar Woods Falcons lacrosse squad scored a good 19-3 victory over the Meridian Mustangs.
The Falcons now have a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Independence for a Potomac test on Tuesday, May 2. Briar Woods will face a squad coming off a 17-6 league loss to Riverside (Leesburg, VA). The record now stands at 7-3.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Fauquier Falcons (Warrenton, VA) in a Northwestern test, on Monday, May 1. Meridian will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 5-4 record after their 15-12 league loss to Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA).
