April 26, 2023: Lakewood, WA 98498 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Lakes Lancers (Lakewood, WA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Steilacoom Sentinels (Steilacoom, WA), by a margin of 15-10.
With the triumph, Lakes moves its record to 7-8 on the year. The Lancers host Spanaway Lake (Spanaway, WA) to play the Sentinels in a 3A Pierce County contest on Thursday, April 27. Game Summary
Savanna Newville was bad news for opposing pitchers on Wednesday, driving in six on three hits to lead Lakes Lancers Varsity past Steilacoom High School 15-10 on Wednesday. Newville drove in runs on a triple in the first, a triple in the second, and a triple in the third.
Bats blistered as Lakes Lancers collected 17 hits. Lancers scored 3 in 1st, 4 in the second and 4 in the lead to jump out to an early 11-0 lead
