James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting West Ashley Wildcats (Charleston, SC), 8-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, James Island upgrades its record to 21-2 on the season.

With the defeat, West Ashley falls to 6-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Conway (Conway, SC) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 30. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 11-15. Conway lost 12-1 in their recent non-league test against West Florence (Florence, SC)
