April 26, 2024: St. Louis, MO 63105 Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Clayton Greyhounds (St. Louis, MO), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Irish confront the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 27. Peoria Notre Dame will attempt to better on its 16-0 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Carmel (Mundelein, IL).
The Greyhounds now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carmel for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. Clayton will confront a Corsairs team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA). The Corsairs record now stands at 2-8.
