In Friday's non-league challenge, the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) baseball squad triumphed over the host Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC), by a final score of 12-6.

With the win, Middle Creek upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 11-9. Apex Friendship won 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Green Level (Cary, NC)

With the defeat, Panther Creek falls to 3-15 on the season. The Catamounts travel to Green Level (Cary, NC) to encounter the Gators in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 1.
