New York High School Lacrosse - Nyack drops to Westlake
April 26, 2024: Thornwood, NY 10594 Westlake Wildcats (Thornwood, NY) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Nyack Red Hawks (Upper Nyack, NY), 19-12 in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Dobbs Ferry for a non-league battle on Monday, April 29. Westlake will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 12-7 league loss to Blind Brook (Rye Brook, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
In their next game, the Red Hawks clash with the Nanuet Golden Knights (Nanuet, NY) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 1. Nyack will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Golden Knights come into the battle with a 1-8 record after their 15-6 non-league loss to Highland (Highland, NY).
