Ohio High School Softball - Bellefontaine bounces North Union
April 26, 2024: Richwood, OH 43344 The Bellefontaine Chieftains (Bellefontaine, OH) softball routed the host North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH), 15-6 in Friday's league bout.
The Chieftains (5-8) will now prepare for their bout against Tecumseh (New Carlisle, OH). The Arrows go into the Central Buckeye - Mad River bout with a 7-5 record. In their last bout, Tecumseh toppled Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH), 19-0, in a non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Cardington-Lincoln for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 27. North Union will confront a Pirates squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Mt. Gilead (Mt. Gilead, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 12-1.
