April 26, 2024: Valley City, ND 58072 The crowd at Friday's league match between the Valley City Hi-Liners (Valley City, ND) and the visiting Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND), saw Valley City's softball squad nip Devils Lake by a count of 17-16.
The Hi-Liners now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Shanley for a Class A - East Region match on Tuesday, April 30. Valley City will face a Deacons squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND). The Deacons record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Devils Lake falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to West Fargo (West Fargo, ND) to face the Packers in a Class A - East Region match on Tuesday, April 30. The Packers enter the match with a record of 3-1.
