Ohio High School Softball - New Riegel bounces Woodmore
April 26, 2024: Elmore, OH 43416 New Riegel Blue Jackets (New Riegel, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Woodmore Wildcats (Elmore, OH), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Jackets now own a 17-1 record. They take the field next when they host Danbury for a Sandusky Bay - River challenge on Monday, April 29. New Riegel will battle a Lakers squad coming off a 9-7 league win over Lakota (Kansas, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 10-7.
With the loss, Woodmore falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Old Fort (Old Fort, OH) to battle the Stockaders in a Sandusky Bay - River challenge on Monday, April 29. The Stockaders enter the challenge with a record of 3-9. Old Fort lost 13-5 in their recent league challenge against Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH)
