Massachusetts High School Softball - Sutton bounces North
April 26, 2024: Sutton, MA 01590 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Sutton Sammies (Sutton, MA) and the visiting North Polar Bears (Worcester, MA), witnessed Sutton's softball squad prevail over North by a count of 19-4.
The Sammies now sport a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Douglas for a Dual Valley match on Monday, April 29. Sutton will face a Tigers squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over South (Worcester, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, North moves to 0-3 on the season. The Polar bears travel to St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA) to face the Bernardians in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 1. The Bernardians go into the match with a record of 1-0.
