Florida High School Softball - Orange Beach holds off Pace
April 26, 2024: Pace, FL 32571 Orange Beach Makos (Orange Beach, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pace Patriots (Pace, FL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Makos now own a 36-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Michael Catholic for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. Orange Beach will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Elberta (Elberta, AL). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-13.
With the loss, Pace falls to 21-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Navarre (Navarre, FL) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 9-14. Navarre lost 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Fort Walton Beach (Fort Walton Beach, FL)
