New Jersey High School Softball - Weehawken nudges Passaic County Tech
April 26, 2024: Weehawken, NJ 07087 Weehawken Indians (Weehawken, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Passaic County Tech Bulldogs (Wayne, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeland Regional for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. Weehawken will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to West Milford (West Milford, NJ). The Lancers record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Passaic County Tech falls to 11-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ) to battle the Cutters in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. The Cutters enter the challenge with a record of 8-6. Fair Lawn won 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ)
