Blue Ridge Jays (Elkton, VA) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting James River HomeSchool Eagles (Chesterfield, VA), 17-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Blue Ridge moves its record to 12-5 on the season. The Jays host Shenandoah Valley Academy (New Market, VA) to battle the Stars in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 29. The Stars come into the match with a record of 0-5. Shenandoah Valley Academy lost 24-9 in their recent non-league match against Blue Ridge (St. George, VA)
