The Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) baseball trounced the visiting Centerville Bulldogs (Centerville, IN), 9-2 in Saturday's league challenge.

The Knights now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cowan for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 26. Northeastern will clash with a Blackhawks team coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to Knightstown (Knightstown, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, Centerville drops to 1-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to New Castle (New Castle, IN) to play the Trojans in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 3-9. New Castle lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Delta (Muncie, IN)
