April 26, 2025: Succasunna, NJ 07876 The Roxbury Gaels baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Freehold Township Patriots to 6 in the Gaels non-league win on Saturday.
The Gaels now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bloomfield for a non-league test on Monday, April 28. Roxbury will clash with a Bengals team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ). The Bengals record now stands at 3-10.
With the defeat, Freehold Township drops to 7-4 on the year. The Patriots host Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ) to clash with the Bucs in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Bucs go into the test with a record of 4-10. Red Bank Regional lost 13-2 in their recent league test against Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ)
