The Hazleton Area Cougars the visiting Parkland Trojans baseball squad by a score of 4-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 outing, on Tuesday, April 29. Hazleton Area will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Comets come into the outing with a 6-6 record after their 5-2 league win over Berwick (Berwick, PA).
