Illinois High School Baseball - Lemont defeats Plainfield North
April 26, 2025: Lemont, IL 60439 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) and the visiting Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL), saw Lemont's baseball team gain a win over Plainfield North by a tally of 8-2.
The Lemont HS (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors enter the South Suburban - Blue battle with a 4-12 record. In their last battle, Thornton Fractional North held off Rauner (Chicago, IL), 9-8, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers face the Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) in a Southwest Prairie battle, on Monday, April 28. Plainfield North will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 8-12 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL).
