The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) and the host Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL), saw Palatine's baseball team beat Rolling Meadows by a margin of 8-3.

The Pirates (15-6) will now prepare for their battle against Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Vikings enter the Mid-Suburban - West battle with a 15-0 record. In their last battle, Fremd held off Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL), 5-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Mustangs face the Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - East battle, on Monday, April 28. Rolling Meadows will attempt to improve on its 16-5 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 15-3 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Mundelein (Mundelein, IL).
