In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Riverside Vikings baseball team scored a close 14-8 win over the West Scranton Invaders.

The Vikings (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA). The Crusaders go into the Lackawanna 2 game with a 4-9 record. In their last game, Holy Cross was overwhelmed by Lakeland (Jermyn, PA), 9-8, in a league game.

Next, the Invaders play the Delaware Valley Warriors (Milford, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 game, on Monday, April 28. West Scranton will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Warriors go into the game with a 3-6 record after their 4-2 league win over Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA).
