April 26, 2025: Council Bluffs, IA 51503 Valley Tigers (West Des Moines, IA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Valley moves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA) to clash with the Jaguars in a CIML test on Tuesday, April 29. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 10-1. Ankeny Centennial won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Mason City (Mason City, IA)
The Titans now sport a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Pius X for a non-league test on Saturday, April 26. Lewis Central will clash with a Thunderbolts team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Duchesne (Omaha, NE). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 7-2.
