The Churchill County Greenwave baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Spring Creek Spartans to 6 in the Greenwave non-league win on Saturday.

The Greenwave now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elko for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1.

With the defeat, Spring Creek drops to 5-10 on the year. The Spartans travel to Fernley (Fernley, NV) to clash with the Vaqueros in a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. The Vaqueros go into the test with a record of 12-13. Fernley lost 14-5 in their recent non-league test against Elko (Elko, NV)
