April 26, 2025: Columbia, SC 29229 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Mauldin Mavericks (Mauldin, SC) and the host Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC), saw Mauldin's soccer squad knock off Spring Valley by a count of 2-0.
The Mavericks (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Woodmont (Piedmont, SC). The Wildcats enter the battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Woodmont tipped Greenwood (Greenwood, SC), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Vikings battle the Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, April 27. Spring Valley will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC).
