April 26, 2025: West Orange, NJ 07052 The Bloomfield Bengals triumphed over the host West Orange Mountaineers softball squad by a count of 15-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bengals play the Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars (Montclair, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 28. Bloomfield will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Payne Tech (Newark, NJ).
The Mountaineers (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Kearny (Kearny, NJ). The Kardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Kearny overcame Fort Lee (Fort Lee, NJ), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
