The Joliet Central Steelmen softball squad (Joliet, IL), was routed 16-9 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL)

With the triumph, Bremen improves its record to 6-11 on the year. The Braves host Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL) to face the Hawks in a South Suburban contest on Monday, April 28. The Hawks enter the contest with a record of 1-10. Hillcrest lost 16-1 in their recent league test against Argo (Summit, IL)

The Steelmen (1-16) will now prepare for their test against Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Panthers go into the Suburban Prairie - South test with a 17-0 record. In their last test, Oswego held off Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL), 11-1, in a non-league test.
