April 26, 2025: Darrington, WA 98241 The Darrington Loggers softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Orcas Island Vikings to 4 in the Loggers non-league win on Saturday.
The Loggers now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Conner for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 29. Darrington will confront a Braves team coming off a 10-9 league win over Orcas Island (Eastsound, WA). The Braves record now stands at 2-8.
With the defeat, Orcas Island falls to 7-9 on the year. The Vikings travel to Coupeville (Coupeville, WA) to face the Wolves in a 1B/2B Northwest contest on Tuesday, April 29. The Wolves enter the contest with a record of 13-1. Coupeville won 6-2 in their recent non-league contest against Forks (Forks, WA)
