Kentucky High School Softball - Franklin County edged by North Laurel
April 26, 2025: London, KY 40741 North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY), 7-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, North Laurel improves its record to 19-1 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Clay County (Manchester, KY) to play the Tigers in a District 49 game on Monday, April 28. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 7-9. Clay County won 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Pineville (Pineville, KY)
The Flyers now hold a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to South Oldham for a non-league game on Monday, April 28. Franklin County will play a Dragons squad coming off a 18-2 non-league loss to Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 9-10.
