April 26, 2025: Merrill, WI 54452 Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting La Crosse Logan Rangers (La Crosse, WI), 15-13 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Merrill improves its record to 6-8 on the year. The Bluejays host Wausau West (Wausau, WI) to face the Warriors in a Wisconsin Valley game on Thursday, May 1. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 4-8. Wausau West lost 6-2 in their recent league game against D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI)
The Rangers now hold a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Portage for a non-league game on Saturday, April 26. La Crosse Logan will face a Warriors squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 9-2.
