April 26, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Laingsburg Wolfpack (Laingsburg, MI), 11-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Mt. Pleasant upgrades its record to 9-4 on the year. The Oilers travel to Dow (Midland, MI) to play the Chargers in a Saginaw Valley game on Saturday, April 26. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 7-3. Dow won 16-1 in their recent non-league game against Lapeer (Lapeer, MI)
The Wolfpack now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Garber for a non-league game on Saturday, April 26. Laingsburg will play a Dukes squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Freeland (Freeland, MI). The Dukes record now stands at 7-2.
