New York High School Softball - Midlakes bested by Marion
April 26, 2025: Clifton Springs, NY 14432 The Marion Black Knights triumphed over the host Midlakes Screaming Eagles softball squad by a count of 26-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Black Knights meet the Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 26. Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Little Irish enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 13-1 league loss to Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY).
The Screaming Eagles (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Hornell (Hornell, NY). The Red Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Hornell was routed by Haverling (Bath, NY), 10-1, in a league challenge.
