The Meadowbrook Colts softball team scored 6 runs and held the host New Philadelphia Quakers to 2 in the Colts non-league win on Saturday.

The Colts now possess a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crooksville for a Muskingum Valley battle on Monday, April 28. Meadowbrook will confront a Ceramics team coming off a 12-5 league win over River View (Warsaw, OH). The Ceramics record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, New Philadelphia moves to 13-7 on the season. The Quakers travel to West Holmes (Millersburg, OH) to confront the Knights in a Ohio Cardinal battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 6-10. West Holmes lost 3-2 in their recent league battle against Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH)
