The Union Area Scotties softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Wilmington Greyhounds to 0 in the Scotties non-league win on Saturday.

The Scotties now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sewickley Academy for a WPIAL 1A 1 battle on Monday, April 28.

With the loss, Wilmington moves to 9-3 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Reynolds (Greenville, PA) to confront the Raiders in a District 10 Region 1 battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 2-9.
