The Riverside Panthers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Beaver Falls Tigers to 1 in the Panthers league victory on Wednesday.

The Panthers (9-4) will now prepare for their match against New Brighton (New Brighton, PA). The Lions come into the WPIAL AA 5 challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, New Brighton was overwhelmed by Shenango (New Castle, PA), 6-5, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Beaver Falls falls to 3-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to South Side (Hookstown, PA) to battle the Rams in a WPIAL AA 5 challenge on Friday, April 29. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. South Side lost 14-4 in their recent league challenge against Laurel (New Castle, PA)
