The Loudon Redskins nipped the host Sequoyah Chiefs softball squad by a final score of 5-4 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Redskins (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TN). The Wildcats go into the AA District 5 battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Sweetwater tipped Roane County (Kingston, TN), 10-4, in a non-league outing.

The Chiefs (11-10) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Maryville, TN). The Mountaineers enter the non-league outing with a 16-8 record. In their last outing, Heritage tipped William Blount (Maryville, TN), 7-6, in a league outing.
