April 27, 2023: Delmar, DE 19940 Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Dover Senators (Dover, DE), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Delmar upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Parkside (Salisbury, MD) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Monday, May 1. The Rams come into the test with a record of 11-3. Parkside won 7-5 in their recent league test against Snow Hill (Snow Hill, MD)
With the defeat, Dover falls to 3-9 on the season. The Senators travel to Milford (Milford, DE) to battle the Buccaneers in a Henlopen - Northern test on Tuesday, May 2. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 1-6.
