In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA), by a margin of 19-4.

With the win, Peters Township betters its record to 8-7 on the season. The Indians travel to Connellsville (Connellsville, PA) to encounter the Falcons in a WPIAL 5A 2 challenge on Monday, May 1. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Connellsville won 9-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA)
