New York High School Baseball - Maple Hill defeats Scotia-Glenville
April 27, 2023: Scotia, NY 12302 Maple Hill Wildcats (Castleton on Hudson, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Scotia-Glenville Tartans (Scotia, NY), 7-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Maple Hill upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Greenwich (Greenwich, NY) to battle the Witches in a non-league test on Friday, April 28. The Witches come into the test with a record of 5-6. Greenwich won 13-5 in their recent league test against Hoosick Falls (Hoosick Falls, NY)
With the defeat, Scotia-Glenville falls to 5-6 on the season. The Tartans travel to Gloversville (Gloversville, NY) to battle the Huskies/Dragons in a Section 2 Foothills test on Friday, April 28.
