Colorado High School Soccer - Air Academy Discovery Canyon
April 27, 2023: US Air Force Academy, CO 80840 Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), 2-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Kadets confront the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 2. Air Academy will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Red-Tailed Hawks enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO).
The Thunder now possess a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Lutheran for a challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Discovery Canyon will confront a Lions team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Holy Family (Broomfield, CO). The Lions record now stands at 9-0.
