Virginia High School Soccer - Blacksburg nudges Glass
April 27, 2023: Lynchburg, VA 24501 Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bruins confront the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) in a River Ridge challenge, on Tuesday, May 2. Blacksburg will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA).
The Hilltoppers now have a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a Seminole challenge on Friday, April 28. Glass will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Minutemen record now stands at 3-4.
