In Thursday's league test, the host Prout Crusaders lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-10 victory over the Coventry Oakers.

The Crusaders now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chariho for a Division 2 test on Monday, May 1. Prout will face a Chargers squad coming off a 13-8 league loss to South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI). The Chargers record now stands at 3-5.

In their next game, the Oakers face the Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) in a Division 2 test, on Monday, May 1. Coventry will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Clippers come into the test with a 6-2 record after their 8-4 league loss to Pilgrim (Warwick, RI).
