April 27, 2024: Elizabeth, NJ 07202 The Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ) baseball nipped the visiting Franklin Warriors (Somerset, NJ), 4-3 in Saturday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Minutemen play the Dayton Bulldogs (Springfield, NJ) in a UCC - Mountain contest, on Monday, April 29. Elizabeth will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 4-8 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ).
The Warriors now sport a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league contest on Monday, April 29. Franklin will play a Tigers squad coming off a 17-8 non-league loss to Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.
