Michigan High School Baseball - Grand Ledge loses to Rockford
April 27, 2024: Rockford, MI 49341 The Rockford Rams crushed the visiting Grand Ledge Comets baseball team by a tally of 10-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Rams now hold a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caledonia for a Ottawa-Kent - Red bout on Tuesday, April 30. Rockford will face a Fighting Scots team coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Byron Center (Byron Center, MI). The Fighting Scots record now stands at 6-9.
Next, the Comets face the Okemos Wolves (Okemos, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue bout, on Monday, April 29. Grand Ledge will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Wolves enter the bout with a 9-5 record after their 7-3 league loss to DeWitt (DeWitt, MI).
