April 27, 2024: Joplin, MO 64804 The Marshfield Bluejays baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Joplin Eagles to 3 in the Bluejays non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bluejays (17-9) will now prepare for their match against Camdenton (Camdenton, MO). The Lakers go into the Class 5 District 5 match with a 8-15 record. In their last match, Camdenton was overwhelmed by Smith-Cotton (Sedalia, MO), 11-0, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (6-14) will now prepare for their match against Webb City (Webb City, MO). The Cardinals go into the non-league match with a 16-6 record. In their last match, Webb City edged Park Hill (Kansas City, MO), 7-2, in a non-league match.
