In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Carlmont Scots volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Homestead Mustangs.

The Scots (26-7) will now prepare for their battle against Serra (San Mateo, CA). The Padres come into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Serra was edged by Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA), 2-1, in a league battle.
