The Brother Rice Crusaders held off the host Plainfield East Bengals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Crusaders now have a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Francis for a Chicago Catholic - Blue test on Tuesday, April 30. Brother Rice will confront a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 23-5.

The Bengals (15-9) will now prepare for their test against Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Panthers enter the Suburban Prarie test with a 16-11 record. In their last test, Oswego was nudged by Minooka (Minooka, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
