April 27, 2024: Kaukauna, WI 54130 The Slinger Owls soccer team scored 1 points and limited the host Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts to 0 in the Owls non-league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Owls face the Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI) in a North Shore contest, on Tuesday, April 30. Slinger will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Highlanders enter the contest with a 0-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI).
The Galloping Ghosts now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Appleton North for a Fox Valley Association contest on Tuesday, April 30. Kaukauna will face a Lightning team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Kenosha Bradford (Kenosha, WI). The Lightning record now stands at 4-2.
