New York High School Lacrosse - Curtis drops to St. Joseph-by-the-Sea
April 27, 2024: Staten Island, NY 10312 In Saturday's non-league test, the host St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-4 victory over the Curtis Warriors.
The Vikings now have a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host St. John the Baptist for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 30. St. Joseph-by-the-Sea will face a Cougars squad coming off a 16-10 non-league win over Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 10-2.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Midwood Hornets (Brooklyn, NY) in a PSAL Championship test, on Thursday, May 2. Curtis will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 5-3 record after their 10-2 league win over Madison (Brooklyn, NY).
